Grinding Grit Diamond

Resin bond grinding grit diamond is a synthetic material with a friable crystal structure intended for use in vitrified and resin bond systems.  Crystals are irregular, elongated, rough edged and are suitable for grinding nonferrous materials such as tungsten carbide, glass and a variety of ceramics.

Our grinding grits diamond for resin bond includes the following series.

AAM RVD Series Products

RVD

As the basic material of the series, RVD is of medium hardness. It is widely used for
grinding various material, from hardest natural diamond to soft stone.

RVD E

The product is a treated abrasive specially used for electroplating process.
The
low impurity level and irregular shape make it suitable for the applications.
It is an economic replacement of natural diamond.

RVD S

Crushed from strong monocrystals, RVD S is very suitable for metal bond tools.
With higher toughness and impact resistance, it is ideal abrasive for grinding natural diamond.

RVD C

It is weakest product in the family. Compared to its brothers,
RVD C contains more impurity in crystal, thus lower toughness.
The product can be used for resin bond.

JR1 Series

JR1diamond grit is a fragile needle-shaped synthetic diamond, its irregular shape increases the holding force of the metallic bond, which is suitable for resin bond or vitrified bonded abrasive wheels for processing hard alloys.

Available in mesh sizes is from 50/60 to 325/400;

We can offer JR1 Series as follows:

JR1-10: Irregular, low impurity. Suitable for processing stones, hard alloy, magnetic  materials, natural diamond, gem, etc.

JR1- 20: Harder than JR1-10, better shape. Used for resin bond and vitreous bond tools. It is ideal for grinding glass, quartz, ceramics, stones, hard alloy and natural diamond, etc.

JR1- 30: Low hardness, used for making a wide range of grinding and polishing tools.

Green RVD Series

Green RVD synthetic diamond is a more cost-effective RVD series.

GRVD10

Medium tough and friable crystals, irregular shape,
dark green color, perfect self-sharpen ability.

It is ideal for demanding high grinding rates and
long life for cemented carbide parts, ceramics, PCD, etc.

GRVD20

Excellent friable multi-crystal, lower toughness than
GRD10, light grey color. Provide good self-sharpen ability.

Best choice for those applications require high free
cutting and high surface finish.

GRVD30

High free cutting capacity. Suitable for demanding
application with tolerance requirements.

Recommended for grinding tungsten carbides, ceramics, etc.

GRVD40

Blocky shape, light green color, low tough multicrystal.
Suitable for demanding applications with high production
rates and long tool life.

Recommended for high precision grinding application.

RBD Series

Our RBD Series is designed for resin and vitrified bond systems. There are four products available, including RBD H, RBD G, RBD and RBD B. All the products are in polycrystalline form. With higher friability, these products worked well in resin bond system.

AAM RBD Series Products

RBD

As the basic product in RBD family, RBD is of slightly higher friability.
Good free cutting and selfsharpening properties make the grits suitable for grinding various materials.

RBD H

The product is the strongest abrasive in the series. With irregular shape and higher toughness, RBD H is
suitable for demanding grinding applications where high material removal rate and long tool’s life are required.

RBD G

It is typical diamond powders In poly-crystalline form. Irregularity enhances bond retention.
Moderate friability make the product suitable for most of resin bond tools.

RBD B

Higher impurity level and irregular shape make the product very friable.
It is the ideal abrasive for grinding hard material like tungsten carbide and technical ceramics.
